Microsoft's new AI assistant is called "Windows Copilot" and is launching in a "preview" state as Microsoft is still building out new features and functionality for this new generative AI tool. While Cortana is still built-in to Windows 11 by default, the app is no longer functional and is expected to be removed in a future update. Microsoft's blockbuster new feature for this release is undoubtedly its new Windows AI assistant, which builds upon the already available Bing Chat AI as an in-box replacement for the old Cortana assistant Windows used to have. Still worth the cost of the CD, as it's one of my favorites.Ī recent Win 10 update broke the Steam installation again, and I had to revert to the CD version. The new Windows Copilot interface. If you left-click on the highest resolution, the game crashes.Ī curious thing: after installing from the CD and sometime later restarting the computer, the Steam version plays correctly, suggesting it found the game-installed QuickTime. Should this happen, go into Settings Graphics and right-click on the screen resolution numbers until you get something useful like 1366 x 768.

One other point: the game installed at the maximum screen resolution, very difficult to play. Perfect! The trouble was with the way the game itself installs QuickTime (I already had DivX installed, and did not re-install it.)Ĭuriously, the new install reads the old install dive results, so I lost nothing in the game and didn't have to start over. I found the only solution for my computer was to buy the original game disk ($4.00 at Amazon) and do a stand-alone install. Dive to the Titanic has been problematic on Windows 10: some have had no troubles at all, others have not been able to get it to see QuickTime, no matter which version or how it's installed.
